Martyn's portraits shortlisted by Royal Society of Portrait Painters

Following on from his 2022 success, again 2 of Martyn's portraits have been pre-selected for this year's RS exhibition.

The RS selection process is very extensive with some 800 portraits first being selected from photographs of the thousands on pieces entered into the annual competition. The entries are then reduces to 400 portraits which the artists are invited to enter into the final selection process of just 400 entries.

Both of Martyn's portraits have strong narratives about the sitters giving them a strong human interest.
