Cradley Heath Green Landscapes Project

Arts Council England (National Lottery) have given the go-ahead for MFAA to partner with several private, public and volunteer organisations to run a green landscapes project centred on the 5 green open spaces of Cradley Heath.

Experienced MFAA member Martyn Harris is leading the project that will include multi-media art including the spoken/written word, heritage film and music.

As well as artists being commissioned to produce landscape art others will act as tutors and everyone will be able to take part in selected art workshops.

Martryn said, "This project will involve the wider community with people of all ages taking part in workshops and follow up studio sessions  at several partner sites.

24th September 2019:   ACE decided to approve funding successful. 

The project is unrivalled across the Black Country and Birmingham in its connection to the communities of both Sandwell and Dudley and in its integrated arts approach. The project has real outcomes that will benefit community volunteers who give their time to maintain local green landscapes.
