New Art Space Opened
The Art Yard volunteers have a new exhibition space. Sandwell Council has provided the gallery with a new public art exhibition space within the Council House at Oldbury. For sometime MFAA group management (c/o The Art Yard) have been working together with Stacey Bagdi, the council's Cultural Development Manager (Museums, Libraries and Archives Service), to establish a public place inside the Council's HQ building to set up exhibitions of art created by local artists. Gill's Grand Day Out to Newcastle
Resident artist Martyn Harris RBSA and Harold Bloomer RSA from The Art Yard, Cradley Heath took regular gallery visitor Gill Martin on a very special day out by train to the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle. Midland Film And Art group will again be holding their increasingly popular PoArtry evenings at The Art Yard gallery, Cradley Heath this year from February 10th.
