Thanks to all volunteer, club & workshop exhibiters who attended today's gathering at The Art Yard gallery, B64 5HX. What a result! It was fantastic to see so many supporters of the gallery there. There were loads of nibbles, cheese, pate, choccies, bickies, focaccia bread, samosa, cakes, lots of drinks, fruit juices and even the odd glass of 'communal' wine. A large Thank You to everyone for your attended and contributed to the buffet.

For a 2nd year The Art Yard is hosting an art and craft exhibition by the students, parents, staff and supporters of The Westminster School, Rowley Regis. The school caters for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties plus additional needs. The Art Yard volunteers have a new exhibition space. Sandwell Council has provided the gallery with a new public art exhibition space within the Council House at Oldbury. For sometime MFAA group management (c/o The Art Yard) have been working together with Stacey Bagdi, the council's Cultural Development Manager (Museums, Libraries and Archives Service), to establish a public place inside the Council's HQ building to set up exhibitions of art created by local artists.
