Two Successful Open Studios Weekends

The Art Yard held 2 successful Birmingham Open Studios weekends over Sat/Sun 26th/27th Sept and Sat/Sun 3rd/4th October 2026.
The gallery team of resident artists and volunteers put on a total of 11 demonstrations, presentations and workshops covering bear making, film screening, life drawing, mixed media, needle felting, oil painting, texture painting, portraiture, pyrography, screen printing. Our residents' studios were open to the public and there was a large market place offering the sale of arts and crafts.
Over 100 people attended the gallery over both weekends with many stopping to engage in the activities taking place.
