WELLBEING ART WALKS

Harry has issued a ‘Call To Artists’ who are interested in taking part or leading well-being art walks from The Art Yard.

Cradley Heath lies to the south west of Sandwell and is surrounded on 3 sides to the north, west and south by the Borough of Dudley.

Within a short walking distance

of the gallery there are nature reserves, canals, rivers, green open spaces and shopping areas; historical, industrial and urban landscapes, and many more interesting places to visit.

The idea of wellbeing art walks is to enjoy walking and to enjoy stopping at places along the route to engage in creative art.

For those who lead TAY sessions Walk Leader training will be provided by Sandwell Public Health Development (Communities & Partnerships). Leaders do not need any special art qualifications; they just need the enthusiasm to lead other artists.
